Peach County Trojans -
Perfect in the Dome
(KNS) The Peach County Trojans accomplished something on the Gridiron no other Peach County team before them has done before:
An undefeated season. The Trojans ended their season with the most wins ever - 15 and their third AAA State Championship in five years.
The Trojans also continued another streak - they are undefeated at the Georgia Dome. The Trojans have won every trip to the Dome
in four trips to the semi-finals and now the Title Game was clinched at the Dome. It's like we have the Home Field advantage in Atlanta.
This team did not have the superstars like some of the previous Peach County teams, but they made up for it with their heart and
playing like a Band of Brothers.
One of the shortest players on the field, Luke Crowell made some of the biggest plays.
He ran for Peach County's only touchdown, stopped a key Gainesville drive with an interception and batted down the two-point conversion
on the last play of the game - preserving the Trojan win.
