Kommish,
“He stated Georgia is # 1
in graduation percentage of football players.” ???
I’m assuming he meant to add “in
Clarke
County.”

Dear
Rome,
I
know(shon) it's hard for you phlorida state phans to
understand such statements. Of course Coach Richt meant Georgia was # 1 in
Clarke County....and in the State of Georgia and the rest of the
Nation.
Your phavorite
unkle.

James,
You lucky guy,
you! A lovely wife, a beautiful daughter, a promising future
son-in-law(?), all between the hedges on a beautiful football day on the UGA
campus. No wonder you've got that big grin on your face!
The first early fall
day every year always takes me back to my fall quarters at UGA. There was
just a kind of magic about the place that time of year that I never noticed at
any other time. Certainly nothing could beat being inside Sanford Stadium
with fifty thousand other Georgia fans hollering "Go,Dawgs" at the top of our
lungs, trying to avoid being doused with bourbon from cups held in
none-to-steady hands, and coming home slightly sunburned and contented with
another Georgia win on the scoreboard. There were some good football years
when I was there.
Dooley's
Dawgs were awe-inspiring and now Mark Richt has filled those big shoes Vince
left behind and made the program all his. Maybe this'll be another
memorable year for Georgia football.
Thanks for sharing with
us.

We were there also and saw you and Cheryl
leaving the field, just before the Academic All Americans were introduced.
We were there to see a friend from Fernandina's nephew introduced. He is
an Academic All American swimmer at UGA. It was great football
weather, and a great game.
Keep the E-Mails coming.
