The Valley Girls of 66!!!!

Our "Backs"

The Valley Girls of 66 gathered again and this time is was at the Lake Lanier lake house of Ellen Evans.  Ellen and Russ have a wonderful retreat and the Valley Girls had a fun-filled weekend.  It was like the old spend the night parties, but this time without parents and curfews!!  We had such a good time visiting, eating, and just being together.  The mood was set with lots of old tunes coming from the old juke box restored by Ellen's husband.  The Valley Girls danced and sang as the music was going nonstop on the deck and fabulous double-decker boathouse.

Each day ended with a late afternoon pontoon boat ride.  The lake was enjoyed by all, but of course we were able to get in a little shopping on the last day.  Ellen and Russ were wonderful hosts and made the Valley Girls feel so welcome. In fact, we loved it so much that it was decided that this trip should be an annual event.  A great big thank you goes out to Ellen's husband for surprising us without new "Valley Girls of 66" T-shirt! God has blessed us with friends and we feel so fortunate that we have found each other again after all these years.
