Attack Ducks Guard Peach
Pallette
(KNS) Fort Valley's
newest entrepreneur Beth Cleveland has just employed the services of two Attack
Ducks to guard her place of business, The Peach Pallette located on 124 Main
Street (two doors down from Khoury's).
Normally, people
have Guard Dogs or Attack Dogs to protect their property, but Beth has
determined that Ducks can do the job just as well. These two attack ducks
are kept in the show window of her business along with a plethora of plant life
including edible herbs and assorted fountains.
The ducks seem to be
right at home in the tub of water and the mini-eco system provided, but so far
the only thing they have attacked are the goldfish. Beth said the ducks are a
great hit with the kids who visit her store. Apparently, the ducks are a hit
with the local merchants as well.
Local merchant James
Khoury, a.k.a. The Kommish commented that Beth and her husband David have a
fondness for unusual animals such as goats, peacocks etc. and said that you
could probably expect to see some other animal life on display at the Peach
Pallette.
