Coke Cappin' Carmen Marries the Man of Her Dreams
| Most of you who have been on the Spamination Society's mailing list for any length of time will know that Carmen Haussner, a.k.a. Coke Cappin' Carmen, was officially designated as The Assistant Editor of 'moneyphields' many years ago because of her long standing contibutions to that "phamous" newsletter. Multi-talented Carmen went beyond her quick-witted editorial responses to 'moneyphields' and wrote a series of articles on her world wide exploits to Egypt and other exotic places, therby ensuring her "phame" as a world reknowned journalist. |
| This Fort Valley native who graduated from the University of Georgia's Henry W. Grady School of Journalism, was later employed by the Coca-Cola Corporation and worked in Coke headquarters in Atlanta, moved to Austin, Texas and later back to Atlanta. Somewhere along the way she met the Man of her Dreams....Ron Roberts who hailed from Pine Mountain, Georgia. |
| Saturday, April 5 at 4:00 PM, Carmen and Ron were united in Holy Matrimony at the Fort Valley United Methodist Church. The Reception was at the historical Austin Theater on Main Street, Fort Valley. It was one of the happiest weddings I have ever seen although I've never seen a Bride cry so much as Carmen did at her own wedding. It had to be tears of joy. |
| The food was catered by Jan McCord and it was excellent as usual. There were plenty of 6 oz. Cokes (ice cold) for everyone. There were two cakes, a white wedding cake and a chocolate Groom's cake. We were treated to several vidoes of Ron and Carmen presented on a large screen. A great time was had by all who were in attendance. |
| Congratulations to the Bride and Groom. We wish you a long, succesful life filled with happiness and prosperity. I truly believe you were meant for each other. |
